Many businesses are attaching blogs to the main website as a way to build brand loyalty. They send out email newsletters and feeds to alert readers when new content is posted. The blog gives more in-depth info about the products and services offered, and builds a community through posts about related subjects.
Many people would like to add a blog, but don’t have the time to maintain it. I can do this for you. My rates are very cheap (like me!) and my work is very good. For example, I will write a weekly blog for $120/month for the first two months and for $160/month after that. Blog hosting from the company I’m using is $12/month. A domain name for a website (if you don’t already have one) is as low as $9/year.
A “blog coach” here in Des Moines is charging people something like $2,400 to show them how to set up and run a blog. I’m sure for that price, he’s telling people important things like how to “up” their hits, but seriously, this info is free online. He’s charging people because he has more time on his hands than they do.
BTW, it’s also very inexpensive and easy to build a website or blog. I can design a website and/or blog for you, as well. I will charge you, but I won’t charge you $2,400 or even $1,600 (a price my dad was quoted to set up a website). That said, I can’t do Flash.
